This track was the first track we wrote for the project - early March - and the last one we wrote while being physically in the same space. The first couple of lyrics were pretty much improvised and recorded on the spot.

We were going for a certain vibe; previous hotspots now abandoned, minds losing their grip on reality, paranoia. Little did we know such a time was right around the corner, making these lyrics resonate even more with us after the fact.

Musically it's a departure from our 'roots', with the both of us being primarily active on guitar. Guitars are used, but sparingly. There's definitely a James Blake / Massive Attack influence on this one and because it's so different from what we usually do AND our first creation, we thought it was appropriate to release this as the first taste of our upcoming album.
